I apologize in advance if I am posting in the wrong subreddit, if so, just point me to the proper one.

I was wondering if there was a way to modify a DSi to play ROM hacks by using the SD card slot instead of a flash card. I have a spare one lying around and would like to try my hand at modding it for ROM hacks so I don't have to lug my laptop everywhere. Google has so far failed me in bringing up any information on how to do it other than using say an R4 card or something similar.

If anyone has any knowledge they can pass on I would be greatly appreciative. You may also get cookies.

If you do a system update on your DSi will it delete purchased content from the DSi shop and if so is it possible to re-download the content without having to pay for it again? Or if it would tell me there's an update, and it told me there was an update. I have a flash card (AK2i) so I just turned it off. I've heard it. May 18, 2015  And is there any reason not to update either of my 2 DSi units? I kinda wanted the ability to use the shop again, but also wanted to have 1 good DSi that I could use the best current DSi flash card with. If you got flash card suggestions, I'd like those, too, please and thanks. I heard something about Supercard DS2. - I posted this using. Lately getting a lot of questions about DSi Flash Card compatibility with the latest DSi Firmware update 1.4. DSi Flash Cards work on all USA, Japanese, European and UK consoles. Which one is up to you. No way to get FREE roms an and software on DSi without a DSi flash card adapter. Q: can i get processing power on this A: not exactly. A Nintendo DSi System Update will add new features to upgrade your Nintendo DSi system.
